Nature's notes
Eat from the earth, to heal from within.
That is the whole philosophy Sea Moss Me was founded on — and the standard every jar we make is held to.
Why we exist
Before laboratories, there was the earth
Long before laboratories and prescriptions, healing began in nature — in roots, sea vegetables and plants that nourished the body the way it was designed to be nourished. We believe that wisdom still holds true today.
Where modern life reaches first for a quick, manufactured fix, we choose to return to what the earth has always provided: whole, honest ingredients with a legacy of supporting the body from the inside out.
That is the standard we hold ourselves to. Every product we make is rooted in traditional, natural remedies — ingredients chosen for what they have offered people for generations, not for what a lab can synthesise.
That belief is rooted in Jamaica — in its people, its traditions, and two symbols we put on every jar: a bird found nowhere else on the planet, and a sea vegetable that has quietly sustained Caribbean households for generations.
What we stand on
Four rules we don't bend
Wildcrafted or nothing
We only buy moss cut by hand from open rock. Pool-grown moss is cheaper and we have never once been tempted.
Nothing hidden
Every ingredient is on the label in plain words. If you cannot pronounce it, it is not in the jar.
Made in small batches
We make what we can sell fresh. It limits how fast we grow, and that is a trade we are happy with.
Rooted in Jamaica
The moss, the fruit and the hands that harvest both come from the same island. That is the whole supply chain.
The bird on every jar
The Doctor Bird
A hummingbird found nowhere else on earth but Jamaica — the same island, the same waters as our sea moss. It appears on the nation's currency, its coat of arms and its passport.
How it's made
Four steps, no industrial shortcuts
Cut by hand from open rock on the south coast, dried in sun and salt wind, rinsed and soaked in spring water, blended whole in batches one person can watch.
- 01
Hand-harvested
Divers cut the moss from rock in clean Jamaican coastal water — never farmed on ropes, never pool-grown.
- 02
Sun-dried
It dries in open air and salt wind on the shore, the way it has been done here for generations.
- 03
Washed and soaked
Rinsed clean of sand and sea salt, then soaked in spring water with fresh lime until it blooms.
- 04
Blended in small batches
Gelled and folded with whole superfoods — no fillers, no gelatine, no preservatives, no shortcuts.
